Hello qdp customers and visitors! We had the pleasure of attending the official launch party for the amazing Aston Martin One-77 super car concept. In addition to being leaders in the Cisco networking hardware world, qdp employees are big automotive enthusiasts and we really enjoyed meeting the One-77 in person. This One-77 was the only one in North America at this time. The One-77 is an extravagant version of Aston’s big seller the DB9 and it has a 750 horsepower 48 valve 7.3 liter V12 engine with 553 foot pounds of torque. This car’s top speed is over 220 miles per hour and can exceed 60 mph in under 3.7 seconds! The chassis is a carbon fiber monocoque structure designed by Atlanta native and friend of Quality Data Products, Brian Willis. The One-77 has a magnesium aloy torque tube and carbon fiber driveshaft. Really advanced technology in this car. During the party, Aston executives fired up the One-77 and it sounded outrageous! he interior was bare bones but covered in Connelly leather, chrome and carbon fiber. The rear glass lid opens to reveal the in-board suspension and carbon fiber bits. This car is one of the most amazing cars I’ve ever seen. If you have the means, I strongly recommend picking one up. Aston Martin’s MSRP for the One-77 is $2.3 million.
The One-77 is Aston Martin’s loss leader. This exquisite car will help sell Aston’s “entry-level” lineup including the V12 Zagato, DBS, 4 door Rapide, Virage, DB9, V12 Vantage and the V8 Vantage. Our next write up will be about Lamborghini’s latest car the Aventador! Thanks for visiting Quality Data Products Blog and if you ever need assitance with buying or selling enterprise level networking hardware, please contact qdp.com or call us at 800-406-3282 ext 1035.”
